#Hereke Carpet wool-cotton “Seven Mountains”

The pattern of “Flowers of the Seven Mountains” is common in Hereke. It is one of the classical patterns on Hereke carpets as they were used already in Ottoman time.

The Hereke Carpets in wool on cotton are usually hand-knotted with a density of 6 x 6 and are count to the “very fine” carpets.
